Our Story

Meet the owners, Rob and Caroline Rodier

Rob is a WNC native whose family moved to the area from Vermont when he was in elementary school. Caroline, a DC native, met Rob in college at Chapel Hill. We moved to West Asheville in the late nineties. With a love of old houses, we started remodeling our first home a few blocks away from the Inn. Two kids, eight houses, and twenty+ years later, we are honored to have preserved this West Asheville landmark as the Inn on Westwood. We live next door in another historic home built by Richard Sharp Smith, the managing architect for the Biltmore House and many other Asheville landmarks. Running the Inn is truly a family affair. Our extended family lends a hand with yard work. Pristine Clean has consistently kept the place sparkling clean with their natural products. Ron and Darlene at WNC Realty & Rentals make sure bookings are handled with ease and all guest needs are met. All of our partners are committed to making every last detail the best for our guests. We want visitors to love our West Asheville neighborhood as much as we do. We hope to meet you soon.
