The Bennett Suite

This private home listed on the National Register of Historic Places was built in the 1870's and converted into an Inn in 2014. Full of special touches, it features 13-foot ceilings, arched double-doors, and beautiful crown molding. Rooms are spacious and filled with light from the grand, original windows. Enjoy the enclosed sun porch with your morning coffee or watch the sunset over the mountains with an evening cocktail.

The home includes two, two-bedroom, one bath suites: the Atkinson Suite and the Bennett Suite.  The Atkinson Suite has one king size bed and one full size bed and sleeps four people. The Bennett Suite has two full size beds and sleeps four people. The Bennett Suite features its own living room, a private kitchen, and enclosed sun porch. There is a shared front porch, a small back porch, and off-street parking.

Rent one suite or the entire home. If you choose to rent both suites, we will open the large arched doors between the two private parlors for full use of the home.

Interaction with Guests

The Inn Manager will provide instructions for check-in. We are always available for questions, recommendations, emergencies, etc. While each suite is private, be aware that this is an Inn and unless you rent the entire house expect to hear some noise from other guests in the home.

The Neighborhood

The Inn is located in the thriving community of West Asheville. There are many bars, breweries, coffee shops, farm to table restaurants, local music venues, and cute and quirky shops within walking distance. It is also a very family friendly neighborhood. We are two miles from downtown Asheville or South Slope and a half mile from New Belgium Brewing in the River Arts District. Here is a list of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Bike, walk, or jog along the 8 flat miles of the French Broad River Greenway, or take a leisurely tube, kayak, or SUP trip up the river. Book a mobile massage or take a stroll two blocks away for a massage or acupuncture treatment.

Getting Around

Asheville has a bus system, taxis, Uber, Lyft, sidewalks, and many bike racks to help you get around in your preferred style. The Inn has easy access to the interstate and local attractions.
